Project Focus
Water Corporation Morely Main Relocation
Budget
$350,000
Problem
Relocation of the Water Corporation of a water main at the intersection of Broun Ave and Embleton Ave in Morley, Western Australia.
Solution
Installation of new PVC-M 150mm water main to facilitate the extension of the new Broun Ave Bus Port to service the New Morley Train Station.
Project involved extending the existing main to a new location under Broun Ave including excavation of Broun Ave to install the new Water Corporation Main. The installation of the new water main requires strict adherence to Water Corporation Design Standards including disinfection, flushing of the new main, and new connections to a number of properties. Warlitj successfully complete the works within budget and on time, meeting all Water Corporations safety and design requirements.
Warlitj performed all tasks within set timeframes, causing no disruption to EMOS or Defence operations in the sensitive environment at Bindoon Special Forces Training Facility (BSTF). Range Control staff have praised their conduct on the range as exemplary, and EMOS technicians have similarly provided positive feedback on the works and the professional manner in which they were carried out.
