Project | Replace old wooden Bridge over Stinton Creek with new concrete Bridge.
Scope
Installation of new concrete bridge over Stinton Creek to allow for pedestrian access around the botanical park.
EXPAND
  • Warlitj designed the new bridge which included the complete structure design and calculations, create all necessary building approvals, diverting the current creek flow to facilitate installation of columns and bridge abutments, installation of new steel bridge beams and pouring a new concrete bridge deck and asphalting the approaches to the bridge and installation of handrails to match the existing design through out the park.
  • Warlitj were able to complete the works to ensure that bridge was ready for several important events to be held at the park.

Scope
Extension of Armament Wharf at HMAS Stirling to accommodate new vessels.

  • Installation of new infrastructure to enhance the wharf’s ordnance loading capabilities.
  • The project involved extending the existing wharf to support the loading needs of the Royal Australian Navy’s Supply Class Replenishment Ships and Hunter Class Frigates.
  • The installation of infrastructure was designed to meet Defence’s stringent technical and safety requirements, ensuring the project’s success while enhancing operational capacity.

Project | Water Loss Management in remote Aboriginal Communities
Scope
Our team deployed to various remote locations across Western Australia to conduct leak detection and repairs to water distribution networks.

  • Communities suffered poor water pressure affecting health and wellbeing of the communities.
  • Communities completed to date include Bindi Bindi (Onslow), Gooda Binya (Marble Bar), Irrungadji (Nullagine), Ardayaloon, Beagle Bay, Djarindjin, Burringurrah, Mardiwah Loop, and Mowanjum.
  • Successfully located the leaks and repairs of below ground piping with state-of-the-art leak detection equipment resulting signification increase in water pressure and considerable saving by reducing water loss throughout the communities.

Project | Relocation of the Water Corporation of a water main
Scope
Installation of DN150 PCV-M pipe to divert old main to facilitate the construction of the Broun Ave Bus Station as part of the Morley Train Station enabling works.
EXPAND
  • Project involved extending the existing main to a new location under Broun Ave including excavation of Broun Ave to install the new Water Corporation Main.
  • The installation of the new water main requires strict adherence to Water Corporation Design Standards including disinfection, flushing of the new main, and new connections to a number of properties.
  • Warlitj successfully complete the works within budget and on time, meeting all Water Corporations safety and design requirements.
